Let the Dream live

Monday January 21st, 2008
Today is a Great Day, the celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's birhday. The Civil Rights Movement leader and inspirator in America. The one who, against all odds, changed the course of history for millions of African Americans or simply Americans. His actions, the way their were conducted and the outcome that resulted are a source of pride and inspiration for the whole humanity.

Today, after a look back 45 years after his assassination, we still have a long way to go to get to the "Dream" of Dr. King. Behaviors form both sides of the issue, I mean Blacks and Whites, in spite enormeous efforts made are still short to cut from the past.

Fortunately, the new generation; less exposed to the, now far, issues of open racism, institutional segregation or discrimination by law, tends to live across the line of divide unlike the older generations. The time is playing its role, but People need to keep that Dream alive by acting upon it and transmitting the good message of love, peace and mutual acceptance.

2008 --- 2008 --- 2008 HAPPY NEW YEAR

2008 IS HERE. FOR MOST OF US, INCLUDING MYSELF, IT IS JUST ANOTHER YEAR. SAME ISSUES, SAME JOBS, SAME BOSSES, SAME COMMUTES, SAME ..., SAME ...., SAME O SAME ...

BUT SOME THINGS WILL CHANGE, EITHER WE WANT IT OR NOT.

SO LET'S NOT JUST BE THE "COLLATERAL DAMAGE", LETS TAKE CHARGE, BLOCK NEGATIVE CHANGES AND FORCE POSITIVE ONES. I WOULD LIKE TO BE MORE SPECIFIC, BUT PER RESPECT TO OUR DIVERSITY "WITHIN OUR UNITY", I LEAVE THE CHOICE TO EACH ONE OF US TO CHOSE HIS OR HER PRIORITIES, MAKING JUST SURE THEIR AFFECT POSITIVELY THEIR COMMUNITY AND THE SOCIETY IN GENERAL.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU, MUCH LOVE

This an inedited video of the explosive fireworks in Philly, cheers... 2008
